Is there a cost to apply?+
Application fees depend on your program size and delivery format. The YLEA team confirms the fee after reviewing your initial submission, so there are no surprises later.
How long does the review take?+
Most first reviews complete within a few weeks of a complete submission. Programs asked to revise usually resubmit within the same review cycle.
What documents should I have ready before applying?+
A written program description, structured learning hours, learning outcomes, sample lesson materials, and your safeguarding and staff conduct policies. You do not need to upload everything at first submission — we tell you what to send next.
Can I apply for more than one program at once?+
Yes. Submit one application per program. Each program is reviewed on its own so the badge reflects exactly what was assessed.
What happens after I submit?+
You receive an email confirmation within two working days, a reviewer is assigned to your program, and you then receive feedback, a request for further information, or an accreditation decision.
What if my program is not approved on first submission?+
You receive written feedback pointing to the standards that need more work, with clear guidance on what to strengthen before resubmitting. Most providers resubmit within the same review cycle.
